What is paragliding?
A paraglider is an inflatable wing carried by the wind — not to be confused with a parachute, which is built to slow your fall. A paraglider is built to fly and can keep you airborne for hours in the right conditions.
By using thermals or ridge lift we can fly far and long — and with a paramotor until the fuel runs out.
Is it dangerous?
In the right conditions and with the right training, paragliding is not dangerous. It is important to be well trained and to know the theory. As long as you use common sense and what you have learned, it is a safe and rewarding sport.
